August was a pretty busy month for my husband and I, we had another dash to Vietnam this time for his business, though I will admit we raided the piggy bank so that we could have a couple of days of leisure there as well!  We both really do love it over there, even though it’s humid!  The people are just beautiful and friendly and such hard workers.  That will probably be it for holidays for us for a couple of years – unfortunately, it’s never easy to get away when you’re self-employed.

Please also note that my mobile number has now changed.  My new number is 0499 404 919 and I’m just waiting for Google and the Yellow Pages to do their thing and change it.  I would like to mention that I do not actually answer my phone – I’ve been caught out too many times with people saying ‘I just have one question’ and there really is no such thing!  If you would like to make an appointment please do so through my website, if it’s just a general enquiry leave a message and I will text you back with the information you are asking about.  I would prefer not to have a mobile at all but Google require one so I don’t have much choice.

I am heading out to TAMWORTH this coming Saturday, 7^th September – Lucky me picked the election weekend! LOL.  I am looking forward to meeting everyone out there and I do send out a big thank you to Hayley for letting me use a room in her shop, at The Atrium Shopping Centre it is very much appreciated!

Ostara – the Spring Equinox  is something that I’m sure many of us are really looking forward to, after the winter cold it’s always beautiful to see the flowers budding, the trees getting the green leaves on them, animals and babies being born, it’s all about renewal, isn’t it?

This year the spring equinox is on 22^nd September where day and night are equal in length.  It is all about balance and growth, it is about the return of hope into your life by connecting with nature and with your own being.  If you have an alter it is all about green and renewal, so get some green candles, and fresh flowers, dew, seashells whatever you want that inspires you about renewals and write a note about where you want to improve your life.

It’s Never too late to…..  plant a tree.  Or any long living plant really, think of it as giving back to mother earth, we’re always taking from her but we do need to give back.  I saw a message on Facebook which said something like this ‘wouldn’t it be great if tree’s had wi-fi signals, then we’d be planting them everywhere, it’s a pity they only give off oxygen which we need to breath’.  So true.  So think where you can plant a tree, whether in your yard or with a coastal group or regeneration group and make sure you water it and nurture it and then you can take your children or grandchildren to it in years to come and sit under it and enjoy it’s shade and beauty.

A message from: Aeracura (Celtic goddess) – for those in the Southern Hemisphere this is a time of renewal, spring is here and the days are getting warmer and longer, take the time to enjoy this and also to reflect on the things you no longer need – you call it a ‘spring clean’ not just with belongings but with habits as well, thought patterns and physical habits, think of what you eat and drink, how much exercise do you do, get rid of the old and rejoice in the new.  For those in the Northern Hemisphere it is coming to winter, you are going through Fall / Autumn and time to nourish yourself for the winter ahead and time to reflect on what has taken place so far this year and what you have learnt from it.

Feng Shui – Basics

I thought I would bring to my newsletters some little bits and pieces of Feng Shui, which is pronounced Foong Schway.

Modern homes aren’t always the best design for Feng Shui principles to allow the energies to flow through evenly – so the Nine Celestial Cures are used to help bring the balance back into your home. I’ll go into a little more detail with this one – Mirrors top this category which encompasses all kinds of lights and reflectors.  This includes, lamps, chandeliers, shiny ribbons and most reflective surfaces, sparkling clear quartz crystals play a huge part as well.

If you don’t have a back door, this stops the energy from flowing through your home, so you hang a mirror in order to create an artificial back door or energy exit, give it a go – when you put a mirror up on a wall, it instantly makes the room seem bigger and changes the atmosphere at once.  Mirrors are used so much they are called the asprin of the Feng Shui medicine bag, choose a large wall mirror rather than mirror tiles.

Another thing to look out for is making sure there is lots of light in your home – we all know that when we walk into a home and the entrance is dark, we think of it as ‘gloomy’ and uninviting – adding a light increases the harmonious qi life energy.  Chandeliers are fantastic as they combine crystals and light and they shape is flowing rather than straight lines, so they are a very strong Cure.

Services that I offer:

PSYCHIC PARTIES – I do party groups where everyone has as 15 minute reading – this is lots of fun for baby showers, birthdays, hens nights etc and it’s just $20 per reading.  These readings aren’t burnt to disc because there are usually too many people and it just takes up too much time, but I am able to take notes or the person having the reading can take them if they wish.  If you live within an hour of Newcastle CBD there is a minimum of 10 people for a party like this.

FUNDRAISING – I’ve also done a few fundraisers, again which I am happy to do to help a good cause – I usually give a percentage of my takings for the day to help raise funds.

GROUP OF FRIENDS – If you don’t want to go the whole hog with a psychic party but there are four or so friends that would like half hour readings, I will visit you in your home – as long as it’s within a certain radius of Newcastle!  As long as I have a private spot to sit and water to drink, I’m happy!!!  If you live further than an hour from Newcastle CBD I would require a minimum 6 ½ hour readings and yes, I will drive to Sydney!  I would say that my limit would be a maximum of about 2 hours because I would just be too tired upon arriving to do the readings!

Types of readings:

I offer a few different ways to have a reading:-

1.            Face to face – where you come into my room here at Newcastle, this can be for an hour or ½ an hour and your reading is recorded and emailed to you at no extra charge.

2.            Telephone – this is a ½ hour reading and for those that live in Australia and is recorded and emailed to you.

3.            SKYPE – ½ hour reading for those anywhere in the world!

4.            Emailed reading – ½ hour and again for those that find it difficult to come in for a reading or line a time up for a phone reading or SKYPE.

All readings are just as effective as the other, a face to face reading is no different from a phone reading, I just offer all of the above for your convenience.
