Well, it’s that time of year again, Christmas. For so many it is a time of joy, watching children open presents and seeing their excitement getting together with friends and family and homes filled with laughter.

For others it is a time of sadness, missing loved ones that have passed over or loved ones that have just left without a word.  So many don’t have families and are all alone every day, yet somehow Christmas makes it worse.  It’s a reminder of who we don’t have, who is missing and how much we wish that they were with us.

I wish everyone more than anything, a safe holiday season, whether you believe in Christmas or not, stay safe and be kind to one another, tell those that you love that you love them and appreciate them, don’t leave it till tomorrow or some other time.

Instead of making Christmas about presents and spending money how about making it a time where we show appreciation for each other, do something as simple as writing them a letter and telling them how much you love them, something that they can look back on as a reminder.  Don’t ever assume that people know how much you care, it’s important to say it.

Merry Christmas everyone.
