The following is a quote from Abraham – I won’t go into the explanation of who Abraham is, but you should read the book The Law of Attraction by Esther and Jeremy Hicks, one because it’s a Great book and two it will explain Abraham!

Just do your best to keep yourself in balance. One of the first things that causes Energy misalignment, is asking or demanding too much of yourself in terms of time and effort. In other words, you just cannot burn the candle at both ends, so that you are physically tired, and then expect yourself to have a cheerful attitude. So, the rule of thumb has to be: “I’m going to be very, very, very happy, and then do everything I have time to do after that.” — Abraham

Isn’t that GREAt advice! How many times do we ignore the above?  I have had so many people come through the door who just don’t listen, and I hate to admit it but at times I’m one of them!  We just seem to plow on through our lives without stopping and trying to get balance.

Remember that our lives are all about balance, there are ups and downs, good and “bad”, and you need to listen to your bodies, when you’re tired you need to rest.  when you’re upset, you cry, when you’re angry, go punch a pillow!  When you’ve got lots of energy that’s when you get stuck into doing things.  When you don’t listen to your bodies and ignore all the warning signs all you’re doing is sending yourself towards a meltdown, and then when you’re so exhausted that you can’t get out of bed, what use are you to anyone, including yourself?  But just not listening to our physical bodies but also our spiritual/emotional body as well.  Listen to that little voice that is telling you it’s tired.

Don’t feel guilty about taking time “off”.  Switch off the phone and relax or do what relaxes you, if you enjoy gardening and don’t think of it as work, then get into the garden, you’ll switch your brain off and just focusing on what you’re doing is a form of meditation.  This is recharging your mind, which in turn will make you happier and able to face your everyday life.

So, listen to what your body and mind when is telling you and do what it says, so you have balance in your life!!
