Often I get asked what my opinion of heaven is. I mean what is heaven? While I don’t pertain to the theory in the Bible that I was brought up on, for those of you that aren’t aware, I was brought up a strict Seventh-Day Adventist, some of that upbringing still does kind of linger because seriously, I have always wanted to cuddle a lion and as a child that was my goal when I got to heaven!! Romping around with a lion! LOL
What I do know is what the spirit world has shown and told me, and the fact that they are spirit and not stuck in a human body means that they don’t need a bed, somewhere to walk and all the stuff that we humans need. It is a place, though I don’t know where, that is peaceful, those in the spirit world can see the past, present and future and they know what they didn’t learn in this lifetime and will have to come back and learn again, they hang around their loved ones still here on earth for as long as they are needed. They usually have regrets about the things that they have done that they know are wrong, but sometimes they don’t – they have to come back and learn it all again.
When doing readings, they show me things as they are on earth, because it’s just easier for us to understand that, I might see someone patting a horse, but they’re not really ‘in heaven’ patting a horse, they are just showing it to me in that way. They show me things as we can understand them because it’s really just simpler for us.
I loved the Robin Williams movie “What dreams may come” in that he says ‘this isn’t what I thought heaven would be like’ and the response is ‘heaven is whatever you want it to be’. I like that. I’m going to stick with that. So in answer to the question – What is my opinion of heaven? It’s whatever you want it to be. So, what is your opinion of heaven?
