I know I have said this before, but I just feel the need to say it all again!

I personally don’t care what religion you belong to or what your personal beliefs are, whether you are Catholic, Presbyterian, Buddhist, Morman, Muslin, Celtic, Pagan or Callithumpian ….. If you feel the need to belong to an organised religion and it helps you through your life, then I think that is wonderful that you have found that love and support that you need.

I am happy for you to live your life the way you want in whatever belief system that you want to belong to, but please, leave me alone to be who I need to be and who I am happy to be, I will not preach my beliefs to you so please do not preach your beliefs to me, I am happy to discuss what you believe but I would appreciate the same courtesy given to me with my beliefs.

What I don’t like with people is that they think they are RIGHT and everyone else is WRONG – to me that is not how it works, if you are comfortable with how you are, then allow others to be comfortable with how they are instead of trying to beat them over the head with the Bible or whatever book you follow.

If you meet someone and they are interested in your beliefs, by all means discuss it with them, but please don’t tell them or try and make them believe that your way is the only right way because it just might not be for them.

Jesus preached love and compassion for all, yet so many organised religions don’t follow this core advice and I think that is an incredible shame, that it seems to have turned to how much money each religion can make and how many ‘members’ they can get, instead of being about helping their fellow man with no strings attached.
