When you look in the mirror, what do you see?

Do you see stretch marks?

Rolls of fat?

Skinny legs?

Saggy boobs?

Small boobs?

Bat wing arms?

Do you turn sideways and grab your belly and give it a bit of a wobble?  Hating that you can grab that fat?

Next time you look in the mirror I want you to see the truth of your reflection.

Those marks that enabled you to carry a child – there are millions that wish they could have them.

Those layers of warmth that your children, grandchildren and partner love cuddling up to.

Those legs that get you from A to B, that enable you to walk with your kids or dog.

Those boobs that fed your children and that your partner just may enjoy playing with!

Those arms that spread so wide to give warm hugs to anyone that needs them.

When you look in the mirror, what you don’t see is ….

The love that shines out of your eyes

The heart that beats for those that you love

The strength of character you have

The determination to get things done

The fact that you get out of bed every morning to do what needs doing

Stop running yourself down and wishing you were someone or something else.  Because if there’s one thing I’ve learnt is that if you don’t treat yourself nicely, then no-one else will either.

You deserve respect and love.

Don’t settle for less!

Treat yourself as you would your best friend, because you need to be your best friend.
