8 Gems from our Elders
There are 8 Gems from our elders that I want to share with you.
It’s called Life Experience.
Not all of our elders have good advice.
However, I found these 8 gems that have been shared and you know what?
They know what they’re talking about!
I will often share my experiences to help you avoid them yourself.
However, I’m also a firm believer that you can’t talk the talk if you haven’t walked the walk.
Don’t talk to me about depression if you’ve never gone through it!
Same goes for money problems, divorce etc.
So, read these 8 little gems.
I’d advise you to put them up on your wall somewhere and remind yourself of them on a daily basis.
Because they are really important and so very, very true!!!
- If you’re unsatisfied with the situation that you’re in, face the facts. It’s up to you to either do something about it or accept it.
- Starting is the hardest thing to do. Even if you fail, you’ll grow just from giving it a try.
- When you judge people, do it on your own personal interaction with them, not by what other people are saying about them.
- Take responsibility for your mistakes. It’s hard, but people are going to respect you for being a mature and honest adult.
- When you want something, make sure you don’t settle for mediocrity. Give it everything you have.
- Obsessing over the past is seriously the best way to waste your time and your life.
- Try to fix the problem before you get pissed off at yourself. Sometimes it’s an easy mistake and you won’t have to kick yourself for making it because you fixed it.
- Make conversations with whoever you can and whenever you can, you’ll meet some interesting people and you may just learn something!
These are truly are 8 gems from our elders that we need to remember.
After all those that shared these, know how important they are to do.
That’s why they’re sharing them.
To help you through your life.
To make you a better person.
For you to find happiness and contentment with your choices.
Love and Light
