We’ve had some incredibly cold weather here in Australia over the past month, it has been absolutely amazing to see snow in places that hasn’t seen snow for years, with children playing and making snowmen.
While I don’t mind the cold, I will be looking forward to spring and the days getting longer and warmer and seeing Mother Nature slowly wake-up with flowers and trees going into bloom.

I have had my website revamped (again) and this time I do believe that it is much easier to navigate for everyone. Please let me know what you think of it and also if you have any problems, let me know that as well so that they can be sorted.

I have made the move back to the Newcastle CBD – and as a reminder my new address is Level 1, 16a Bolton Street, Newcastle. I absolutely LOVE my new little space and have had it painted and purchased a beautiful old buffet for storage and it is all coming together, I didn’t realise how much I missed working from Newcastle until I came back, I love walking to work, regardless of how cold! It helps clear my mind to get into a day of readings and having a beautiful window to look out of and to allow natural light in, I love the way that spirit works to help you in achieving things when the time is right, I just knew I had to get back into the CBD and a friend suggested that I look on Gumtree because I didn’t want to sign a commercial lease on my own as I just couldn’t afford it. And the day I looked an advertisement had been placed for a sub-let, it was in the right place, the right size and the right price, I had a look on the Monday and took it on the spot! It’s absolutely perfect and I hope that you will love it as much as I do when you come for a reading.

WHAT’S BEEN HAPPENING:-
This month I was the guest speaker for Newcastle Ghost Tours for their Gothmas in July and the beautiful George and Dragon motel in Maitland – a met a wonderful intimate group of people and discussed my book Christian to Clairvoyant. I headed to Sydney on the 24th July to do readings on Saturday, 25th at the lovely Hawkesbury Natural Therapies Centre that is run by my beautiful friend Ange – it was a very full and exhausting day for me, but I do love meeting people, especially those who have liked my Facebook page and who comment on it quite regularly, it’s like catching up with long lost friends!

It’s never too late ……. To listen
We so often listen to someone in order to reply, instead of just listening to what they have to say. Take the time to really listen, not just to someone talking to you, but the sounds of nature and people around you. Don’t just listen to those sounds, it’s also important to listen to your heart and what it is trying to tell you and to follow what it says. And most importantly, listen to the things that aren’t said, because they are the most important things of all.

If you were born in the month of August, certain gem stones have more vibrational power and healing for you than other stones because they are associated with the time of your birth. Over the centuries there have been numerous traditions connected to a particular gemstone so therefore, you may have more than one stone for your month.
The August birthstone is traditionally Peridot, the ancient stone is Emerald and Aventurine and the more modern stones are Carnelian and Moonstone – I am going to touch on the Green Aventurine for you this month.

This is the stone of opportunity. Aventurine is known as the stone of chance or luck. If you gamble or play the lotto, keep this stone in your left pocket. You should never buy a lottery ticket without an aventurine in your left pocket.
Aventurine is mainly quartz, a quartzite, usually containing mica. It occurs in several colors including green, red and blue.
Green Aventurine is the stone of luck and chance. It is said to increase perception and creative insight. It is a heart chakra stone.
Healing properties of Aventurine
It is used to aid nearsightedness.
Aventurine has a stabilizing effect on the emotions.
It is excellent for teenagers.

Angel Numbers:
I have a lot of people contacting me about numbers that they see all the time and what they may mean.
This month I will just briefly touch on when you see double or triple the number, for example, you constantly look at the clock and the time is 1:11 or 2:22 – this means that the original number meaning is being amplified and whatever you are thinking is doubling or tripling the energy out to the universe, so make sure that you think positive things! For example, the number 1 is associated with thought – we are all one in energy so we are all connected – so we need to watch our thoughts and emotions – and if you see it as 11 or 111 – then your thoughts are doubling or tripling.

Susan Kohl – Permaculture
The humble Cabbage originated in the Eastern Mediterranean and Asia Minor. It is steeped in medical folk law and very much held in esteem; and the Romans regarded it as a panacea. It is believed the Celt (Germanic tribe) brought this vegetable to Great Britain and Europe during the 600BC. This cabbage was wild and today’s Cabbage did not appear until 800AD. Even today the lessons of the old are still used to clean a wound that has pus or to apply a poultice to ulcers and Cato the Censor said it purged cancers. The foliage of the Cabbage comes in many colours from light green, medium green, dark green, red and purple. The leafy vegetable grows by forming folds, and in turn forms tight heads, producing the cabbage.
As stated above it is a member of the Brassica genes. Its cousins are the Brussels sprouts, Cauliflower, Kale, Kohlrabi, Mustards, Collars and Broccoli. Cabbages are a winter crop, it is best grown in winter when it is cold and has less pests. It is a biennial plant that is grown as an annual. It prefers full sunlight but will tolerate shadow but will be slow to mature. It requires a well-drained soil; it needs soil high in organic matter and a pH level in the ratio of 6.0 to 7.5. This plant can tolerate a slightly alkaline soil; however it needs lots of feeding and moisture to grow. Did you know that you do not have to harvest the whole plant of the cabbage? When harvesting leave the stalk in the ground and this will re-shoot then you have a ready supply of good quality leaves. Or you can leave them to form more heads that are just the right size for a family meal. Try to grow or buy organic cabbages because during the summer months the farmer has to spray at least twice a week to keep its arch enemy the Cabbage Moth and white Butterfly from destroying his crop. To treat insects on your cabbage spray with equal parts chilli and garlic in 5 drops of environment safe dish washing detergent.
If you have problems with toxicity in the body then the Brassica Genes plants are the best thing to clean the Liver and other organs. Once the Liver is working, and functioning well the rest of the organs will fall into place. If the Cabbage is grown in rich organic soil then it should have the following Health Properties captured within its flesh. Mineral Chlorine, Vitamins C, B1, B2, B3, A, U and K, it should also contain Sodium and Iron. It should also contain Hydrochloric acid, Chlorophyll and Beta-Carotene in the outer leaves. Cabbage will also help in the lowering of Cholesterol, fantastic when you use the outer greens leave cover one side with oil and applied onto Arthritis. If you have bruising then I suggest you use a Poultice and apply to the area to aid in heal process.

PARTIES for a big group – hens’ day, baby showers – this is where everyone has as 15 minute reading – this is lots of fun for baby showers, birthdays, hens nights etc. and it is $25 per reading these readings are not recorded because there are usually too many people and it just takes up too much time, but I am able to take notes or the person having the reading can take them if they wish, I am also happy for them to record on their phones.

GROUP OF FRIENDS – I have had numerous enquiries about parties and how many people you need to host one. It obviously depends on where you live – if you live about an hour from Newcastle CBD, I would need a minimum of 8 people having 15 minute readings ($25 each) if you want to have ½ hour readings ($50 each) then a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 people would be appreciated. If you live within a 2 – 2.5 hour drive, then a fee of $50+ to cover travel costs will be required, depending on how far you are away. And it would be a minimum of 6 x ½ hour readings and a maximum of 8. I am also okay with a mix of readings as in some having ½ hour and others 15 minutes. These are all recorded and emailed to you within 24 hours.

EMAILED – this allows you to ask 6 one topic questions – $50
ONE QUESTION – this is a one question, one topic reading – $10
THREE QUESTIONS – you are able to ask three one topic questions – $30
ONE CARD TAROT – I shuffle and pull one card for you and give you an individual reading as per what the card says and what I am guided to give, no question required – $10
THREE CARD TAROT – as per the one card reading however one card represents your past, present and future. – $30
IN PERSON READING – this is for a ½ hour reading face to face with me – $50
TELEPHONE READING – a half our reading with me directly for ½ hour, available for Australian residents only – $50
DREAM INTERPRETATION – You send me through the information in the dream that you have had that you would like more clarity on and I will provide short dream interpretation for you – sometimes there are hidden meanings, sometimes there are not and sometimes they will be a dream that is ‘foretelling’ as in you have been provided a future glimpse by your loved ones. – $15
BABY READING – This is for the new member of the family, a general one page reading giving an outline of their personality, areas of interest and things they may achieve and also some hints in regards to the more negative aspects of their personality and how to understand them.
No photo is necessary just their name and date of birth, if a name that could be taken for either sex, please let me know if a boy or girl, the reason being is sometimes I pick up their strongest energy and it could be male – even though a girl. – $40
