Have you ever been there chatting away to your deceased, mum or dad for example, and you’ve wondered if they can actually hear us?

Or are you just waffling away to thin air?

While it usually brings us comfort to be able to talk to them, do they hear us all the time or only sometimes?

I know for some it can be incredibly frustrating that other people can ‘feel’ a loved one around them but maybe you can’t.

That doesn’t mean that they’re not around nor does it mean that they can’t hear you.

I do believe that they can hear us; that they can see us when we’re crying because we miss them or struggling to make a decision.

No, they don’t watch us while we’re in the shower …..

I also don’t believe that we need to do any special rituals in order for them to hear us.

You call them, they’re there.

Now, the thing to remember is that while they can always hear us, sometimes it’s difficult for them to let us know.

You maybe trying too hard to ‘connect’ with them, or maybe you just aren’t picking up the signs that they’re leaving for you, writing it off as a coincidence.

Maybe you’ve asked them a question that’s too difficult to answer, as in it’s not a yes or no answer to the question.

Or you may have asked them something and not been given a sign, well, the answer just may be no!

Remember, that just because we want something in our lives, doesn’t mean that it’s what’s best for us.

Those in the spirit world can see the past, present and the future, and they’re up there to help us, even if that means letting us go through difficult times, because in those tough times are lessons that we need to learn.

Never think that your loved ones in the spirit world don’t hear you, even your pets can hear you and communicate with you!

Take it as a sign of love and just accept (which I know can be hard!) that they do hear us.  Tell them all your troubles and the things that frustrate you and the good things that have happened.  Let them know that you miss them.

They hear it all and if nothing else, sometimes it’s just good to get all that stuff out of our heads so it doesn’t keep going around and around.
