I am often asked by people, ‘how do I get messages from my guides?’ and if a loved one is around them because they haven’t had a sign yet, my first question to them is ‘what’s the sign?’ They look at me a bit confused and I ask them ‘what are you looking for?’ and usually they have no idea.

How can you see a sign from a loved one if you don’t know what the sign is that you’re looking for? Your loved ones will be trying to let you know that they are around but more often than not, we’ll just write it off as a coincidence because we don’t know what to look for.

You need to specify what it is you want to see or hear, and please make it in the realm of doable as well!
Here’s a point in case, I had this happen a few years ago when a lovely lady said that she had asked her loved ones for a “sign” for a particular issue that she was having. She told me that they hadn’t given her one, but when I asked her what was the sign, she had no idea what to look for as an answer. For some reason, I kept getting rainbows and she said, well, maybe that was the sign that she was supposed to look for. I reminded her then and I’m doing it now, that you need to be open to all interpretations of what you’re asking for, in this instance a rainbow, that it didn’t technically have to be a rainbow in the sky, but might be on the cover of a magazine, or in an ad on TV or even light hitting a prism and creating a rainbow on the wall.

That night after the reading, I was watching the weather and the weather photo came up …… guess what it was a photo of? Yep, a RAINBOW!!!! I laughed my head off!

So, the moral of the story is: when you are asking your angels and/or spirit guides for a “sign” to know that you’re heading in the right direction or just to make sure that your loved one is Okay, make sure that you specify something, otherwise you’re going to be looking and looking but what are you looking for?? Do you want to see a feather? A rainbow? Or maybe a black cat! But remember we have to look outside the square of what we think it will be – like the ladies rainbow! Don’t only accept a feather on your car seat, someone may give you a bookmark that looks like a feather – well, there is your answer! I also recommend that you specify a time for the answer to arrive so that you’re not continually looking for an endless period of time and also so that when an answer isn’t given, that could mean that the answer to your question is ‘no’.
