Last week, I shared the beginning of my journey of discovery with you. I touched on the meaning of a peony and how that really aligned with my beliefs and who I am.
This week, I wanted to touch on how when doing the re-branding we selected the colour magenta. But before I do that I need to take you back to when I first officially started working as a clairvoyant.

When I set up my website, I have to be honest and say that there wasn’t a lot of thought going on in regards to my website – I picked the colour purple. And you know what? I don’t really know why! I suppose in some weird way that I thought purple was a spiritual colour. Mind you, I don’t walk around in flowing purple crushed velvet robes, nor do I have clothing that is purple. In fact, I have NOTHING that is purple. Seriously WTF was I thinking when I picked that colour?!

I’m a black and white person, in nature as well as in clothing. My entire wardrobe is black and white with a few bits of colour added (thanks to Sam from VibrantConcepts). However if you asked me what my favourite colour is, I would say pink. Hot pink, magenta, fuschia all the bright pinks. I would NEVER say that my favourite colour was purple. Yet, there I was selecting a colour for my business that I thought was what I should have.
And so we decided that Magenta would be my ‘colour’ because I love it, and as with the flowers, we looked up the meaning behind it …

The color magenta is one of universal harmony and emotional balance. It is spiritual yet practical, encouraging common sense and a balanced outlook on life.
This is a color that helps to create harmony and balance in every aspect of life; physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
A combination of red and violet, magenta contains the passion, power and energy of red, restrained by the introspection and quiet energy of violet.
Magenta influences our whole personal and spiritual development. It strengthens our intuition and psychic ability while assisting us to rise above the everyday dramas of our daily life to experience a greater level of awareness and knowledge.

I know, RIGHT? How in align with me is that??!!!! 100% that’s how aligned!
And I know you’re all probably thinking why is she going on about this re-branding? Last week flowers, this week colour.
You know why?
Because it made me realise that I wasn’t being true to myself and I wanted to share that with you so that you can take a bit of a deep and meaningful at your own life and see what it is that you are doing that isn’t being true to you.

I’m a pink girl and if you don’t like my new website because there’s a touch of pink in it, well look elsewhere! I want my ‘brand’, my website, Facebook page my wardrobe, every facet of me to now be true to the person that I really am. If my website doesn’t look ‘spiritual’ enough for you, well tough, just because it doesn’t look the way that you think it should look, doesn’t mean I’m not spiritual!

When I did my talk at Swansea the other week one comment (of many) that I received was ‘we loved listening to you, because you’re real’ – thank you. Seriously, that is the biggest compliment that I could ever receive. One of the things I want to do is turn the perception of clairvoyant and spiritual on it’s head. You can be spiritual, kind and loving and still say fuck. Not have purple and not walk around with a crystal ball!

So, what’s this blog about? It’s actually not about me, it’s about you. I want you to see the things that I’ve discovered about myself and take it and look at your own life. Why do you dress the way you do? Is it because that’s what you think you should wear or is it what you’re 100% comfortable in? (not talking work uniforms here!). Why are you in the job you’re in? Is it what you really want to do or something you kind of ‘fell’ into and stayed, or is it a job that you think is ‘acceptable’ to those around you.
Are you being true to yourself?

I am on such a journey of discovery and to be honest, it’s not only exciting but so freeing!
