Well, winter is well and truly upon us – here in Newcastle anyway! Tops of 11oc is a tad chilly and I am so thankful for a heater and blankets! I also enjoy having hearty soups and stews, there’s nothing like that hot comfort food on a chilly night.

This month I will be heading down to the Central Coast Spiritual Church, it is at 81 Wyong Road, Killarney Vale and starts at 2.00pm on Sunday, 14th July – If you’re able to make it I would love to see you there, it is a lovely group of people, with some singing, I’ll do a talk – no idea on what yet, and then do some readings.

I am also putting into plan to head out to Tamworth, I have a venue, just have to set the date.

Did anyone celebrate Yule? Have Christmas in June perhaps – a wonderful time to get family and friends together to celebrate the shortest day of the year and knowing that the warmer weather is slowly on its way.

It’s Never too late to….. Listen to your heart. Life is so busy, everything seems to move fast and is chaotic, so at times we need to take time out and press the pause button on our life. Stop, look around you and listen to your heart. Your heart knows things your mind just doesn’t understand so be open to what it is telling you and listen to it.

10 Discs – this card is all about family and tradition – carrying on a family business or starting up a business in a traditional way. Don’t get overly caught up with tradition some new ways have to come into play to succeed in the modern world. Feng Shui – Basics
I thought I would bring to my newsletters some little bits and pieces of Feng Shui, which is pronounced Foong Schway.
What is feng shui? This is a simple question that can be difficult to answer. Feng shui is an ancient art and science developed over 3,000 years ago in China. It is a complex body of knowledge that reveals how to balance the energies of any given space to assure health and good fortune for people inhabiting it. Feng means wind and shui means water. In Chinese culture wind and water are associated with good health, thus good feng shui came to mean good fortune, while bad feng shui means bad luck, or misfortune.
So it is another way of making sure that your home is prosperous for all who live in it by the placement of furniture and items and how the air flows and as I said I will bring little bits each month that hopefully will be easy to understand!
If you are unable to change the structure of your existing home (and not many of us can) there are main nine things that you can use that will help balance the energies and these are referred to as the Nine Celestial Cures and put simply they are as follows:-
First: reflectors and lights – mirrors, chandeliers, shiny ribbons and crystals
Second: Goldfish
Third: other household pets
Fourth: harmonious sounds – tinkling bells, windchimes, birdsong, humming insects, whispering wind in bamboo, raindrops and running water
Fifth: colour
Sixth: plants and flowers – natural or silk
Seventh: moving items – fountains, wind vanes, windmills, rotary doors, fans, grandfather clocks, etc
Eighth: heave objects – statues and stones
Ninth: musical instruments – flute and fans
These things are used to help harmonise your home, balancing the energies and creating a wonderful space.
So I’ll let you get your head around that and we’ll start with some tips next month!

Spiritual and Healing Properties of Jade By Trudie Ann Moore

Jade is a wonderful balancing stone, and can help you realize your full potential and attain purposeful goals. Jade also helps lift stuffed-down emotional issues and bring them to light for resolution. This stone can be used as a dream-enhancer by slipping a chunk of it under your pillow or inside your pillow case while sleeping. Keep a small chunk of jade inside a box or bowl where you empty your pockets into at the end of the day. Mingling jade with coins attracts more abundance.
It also allows us access to knowledge used during the Mayan dreamtime, and for those drawn to that culture, assists in connection with the elders of the Mayans.
Astrological Signs that most resonate with Jade are: Aries, Gemini, Taurus, and Libra. You might like to do the following meditation which utilises the energy of Jade to cleanse and clear toxins from the body.
Sit back in your chair and relax your body with some deep slow breaths. As you allow your eyes to gaze at the words, imagine you are in a beautiful green meadow with high mountains. The sun shines brightly and the sky is blue and clear. As you move your eyes down to the distance, you can see smoke coming out of a Native American village. Walk towards it, and as you walk, you meet a guide; a young man who has come to welcome you to this village. When you arrive at the village he starts to dance a welcoming dance. He’s got beautiful feathers in his headwear. As he dances, you can hear a little bit of some drums in the background. His dance is moving with the wind, the beat of the drums and nature.
You become aware of the depth of your breathing and the rhythm of the universe that flows throughout, in and out with our breath, in and out with your heartbeats… feeling it in the earth; feeling it in the pulse going through your body and keeping us alive.
As he dances, you become aware of a divine light that cascades down through your head from the crown chakra down into your bodies, and it eliminates everything on its way. Notice anything that remains in the shadow will need to be removed, let go of. You have a bundle of cloth in front of you and you’re going to remove all that is in the shadow into that bundle so you can let go of it. Now the young man invites you to come with him to a special tent or tepee. In the middle of that tent there is an altar. The young man explains you are going to focus on three organs and cleanse them with light on a deeper level. First, you’re going to cleanse your heart.
The young man puts a beautiful crystal onto the altar. It’s a heart made of jade; a beautiful green stone, large and powerful. You already feel the energy emanating from it. As you look deeper into the jade heart, you see an image of your own heart through the heart of jade.
You can see our heart illuminated in green colour. And inside that are ties – black ties of connections that you no longer need. It hurts us and it pulls you back. So you visualize scissors, a knife, or even asking angel Michael to come in and cut through with his sword. And as the light cascades down through the jade into your heart, your heart, the physical heart, is filled with green light and you see that as you cut these connections, the blood circulation improves. You release these connections. You do not heal them, just cut them off and let them flow away, distant from us. Just observe it, do not judge it, do not resent it. Observe them flowing away or disappearing into the earth. Feel your heart fill to the brim with that light of jade.
Take a deep breath and feel how it settles inside, still full of this beautiful jade light.
You’re now going to cleanse our spleen, which is located just underneath the ribcage. As you continue to receive this beautiful light through the jade to illuminate your spleen, you see that it is also full of darkness and ties that we are also going to cut and release, and wash away the darkness, the poison that we accumulated, the negativity and anger. Wash it away until it is clean and shiny. It is the source of our spiritual understanding. The spleen is a very important organ. It ensures that you spread in the body what you need to receive. It filters what you take in physically and spiritually, and spreads it in the body. Fill the spleen with beautiful jade green sand. It is healing sand, and as you fill the spleen with the sand, the sand absorbs all the negativity from it. It cleanses the walls, the inner walls of the spleen.
Now we pour it out. Feel the lightness that enters your body; the lightness of being.. Take a deeper breath to feel it settling in. Feel how your body seems to be overjoyed, how it is normally circulating, living in a balance, healthy; ready for new spiritual challenges; new experiences that will elevate and raise the vibrations further.
The last organ is the kidneys, and you allow the light to radiate through and illuminate them both through that jade crystal. Allow them to be filled with that light; filled to the brim, overflowing, washing away fears and anxieties, because that is where we store them – in the kidneys.
See a crow landing inside the tent on the altar. It brings wisdom, knowledge and understanding. The crow puts in each kidney a little crystal that would continue to illuminate and cleanse your kidneys as you go along for the next few weeks.
Take a deeper breath allowing them to settle in. Feel the light now flowing even more than before, freely and easily through our body.
As you take now the crystal, the jade crystal from the altar, you are going to go outside of the tent. The young man will shows you a river nearby and you are now bathing in the river, washing the outwards, releasing the last remains of negativity. As you come out of the river, your auric field change colours and is glowing like a newly-burnished rainbow. The light radiates from you everywhere. Animals, birds and people are attracted to you because they see an old soul in new clothes, and feel the light of our being.
You thank this young man from the bottom of our heart; you are now walking back to the meadow from which you came. Notice how different your body feels, how light and happy it feels. Pain, worries, anxieties flow away and disappear. You remain full of joy, health and vitality, in every aspect of your being.
Become aware of the seat and the place where you’re sitting, the sounds in the room, the temperature in the room. In your own time, slowly, you can open your eyes, and come back into the everyday reality of your being.

Services that I offer:

PSYCHIC PARTIES – I do party groups where everyone has as 15 minute reading – this is lots of fun for baby showers, birthdays, hens nights etc and it’s just $20 per reading. These readings aren’t burnt to disc because there are usually too many people and it just takes up too much time, but I am able to take notes or the person having the reading can take them if they wish. If you live within an hour of Newcastle CBD there is a minimum of 10 people for a party like this.

FUNDRAISING – I’ve also done a few fundraisers, again which I am happy to do to help a good cause – I usually give a percentage of my takings for the day to help raise funds.

GROUP OF FRIENDS – If you don’t want to go the whole hog with a psychic party but there are four or so friends that would like half hour readings, I will visit you in your home – as long as it’s within a certain radius of Newcastle! As long as I have a private spot to sit and water to drink, I’m happy!!! If you live further than an hour from Newcastle CBD I would require a minimum 6 ½ hour readings and yes, I will drive to Sydney! I would say that my limit would be a maximum of about 2 hours because I would just be too tired upon arriving to do the readings!

Types of readings:

I offer a few different ways to have a reading:-
1. Face to face – where you come into my room here at Newcastle, this can be for an hour or ½ an hour and your reading is recorded and emailed to you at no extra charge.
2. Telephone – this is a ½ hour reading and for those that live in Australia and is recorded and emailed to you.
3. SKYPE – ½ hour reading for those anywhere in the world!
4. Emailed reading – ½ hour and again for those that find it difficult to come in for a reading or line a time up for a phone reading or SKYPE.

All readings are just as effective as the other, a face to face reading is no different from a phone reading, I just offer all of the above for your convenience.
