Did you do a little ritual for Lughnasadh? (pronounced Loo-nah-sah) I certainly did and I felt so uplifted and at peace afterwards, I do recommend people to do them!  You don’t have to get into the chanting if you’re not comfortable with it, I just light whatever coloured candles are called for (for this ritual I use a gold and a green) I white sage my home, which I feel is always a good thing to do, especially in the area of work that I do!  Then I just give thanks to air, water and fire and I wrote down things I need to let go of and ripped it up into tiny pieces and threw them out and said goodbye to those things.  I also gave thanks to all that I have received in the past year.  It’s as simple as that, beautiful and simple.

I have to confess that it’s taken me a while to be able to do this kind of thing comfortably, with my strict SDA upbringing it is something that I was told was the devil’s work – mind you as far as they are concerned I’m now DOING the devil’s work!!  But the more I do it the more comfortable I am with it and letting go of those past inhibitions created by the church is a wonderful thing! 

My Book

Speaking of upbringing ….  I am in the process of writing a book, not because I think it will be a best seller or anything but so many people have asked me to write the story of my life and how I came to actually overcome the strict religious upbringing to now do what I do, and also how I worked out it was what I had to do and then when about doing it.

So here is where YOU come in – if you had a reading with me in 2010 and would like to contribute your reading to my book, please email me at Katrina@katrina-jane.com – you don’t have to go into great detail but just those things that were given to you that rang true or have actually come true to date.  I just want to use some examples of how spirit works, names can be changed if you wish and obviously anything to identifying will be left out!!!

Facebook – question day.

I put a daily message on there – some uplifting and some just funny, but a great way to start the day!

My weekly blog goes on there as well and I would love you to “LIKE” me, if you feel so inclined!! 

I am going to start having one day – I’m feeling Monday’s where you can ask a question in regards to things that are happening around you.  This is NOT a clairvoyant reading, for instance as some have asked me – they have started to see owls around them, what does that mean?

The winner of the free ½ hour reading was Karen in New Zealand – I had a lot of entrants and as it seemed so popular I think this is something that I will run every couple of months.  So keep an eye out on my facebook page and also in my newsletters!

Tarot/Goddess Card/Medicine Card Readings:-

I just felt inspired to randomly on no given day when I am inspired to pick someone who has “liked” my facebook page and pull out a card for them and give them a little reading …. So make sure you “like” my facebook page to be in the draw.  This may be once a week, or once a month – obviously depending on when I have time!!  But I see it as a little thank you for your support.  The message will be put on my facebook page with your name on it.

DISCOUNTED READINGS:-

If you have previously had a reading with me (it must be at least six (6) months ago) I am offering a special deal for the month of March (and maybe April too!) – book in for a ½ hour reading and only pay $30 – that’s $10 off the current price.  You must tell me when booking that you have been before – I also have a record of those that have had readings with me in my room, so I can double check.

The reason I say it must be at least six months, is I don’t believe that people should see clairvoyants too often, people start to be afraid to make a decision on their own, and we all have to make our own journeys – it’s about getting guidance to help with it.

If you wish to pay via my website you’ll just need to select the ½ hour reading but change it to the $30 at payment, there won’t be a selection for the discounted reading.

In February I …..

Did readings for a hens day – it was out at the airport in Rutherford because the bride-to-be wanted to go skydiving!!!  Not sure that I could be that brave but it was a fun day for all!!!

I also attended a baby shower, I have been blessed to meet so many wonderful people doing these parties!

I love doing these kinds of things, whether hens days, baby showers or just a fun get together and I feel very blessed to meet such wonderful people during these events.

Off the subject completely, Chris and I also celebrated our 15th wedding anniversary on Valentine’s Day!

Services that I offer:

PSYCHIC PARTIES – I do party groups where everyone has as 15 minute reading – this is lots of fun for baby showers, birthdays, hens nights etc and it’s just $20 per reading.  These readings aren’t burnt to disc because there are usually too many people and it just takes up too much time, but I am able to take notes or the person having the reading can take them if they wish.

FUNDRAISING – I’ve also done a few fundraisers, again which I am happy to do to help a good cause – I usually give a percentage of my takings for the day to help raise funds.

GROUP OF FRIENDS – If you don’t want to go the whole hog with a psychic party but there are four or so friends that would like half hour readings, I will visit you in your home – as long as it’s within a certain radius of Newcastle!  As long as I have a private spot to sit and water to drink, I’m happy!!!

Types of readings:

I offer a few different ways to have a reading:-

1.  Face to face – where you come into my room here at Newcastle, this can be for an hour or ½ an hour and your reading is recorded and burnt to disc at no extra charge.
2. Telephone – this is a ½ hour reading and for those that live in Australia
3. SKYPE – ½ hour reading for those anywhere in the world!
4. Emailed reading – ½ hour and again for those that find it difficult to come in for a reading or line a time up for a phone reading or SKYPE. 

All readings are just as effective as the other, a face to face reading is no different from a phone reading, I just offer all of the above for your convenience.
