Well, September has been an incredibly busy month, just like August was!  Did any of you celebrate Ostara??  I have to admit that I just love a spring clean – mind, body, soul and not to mention the house!!  Mind you, since we moved in June we actually don’t have much stuff to sort through, especially when a lot is still in boxes.

With my Facebook page reaching 3000 likes another high tea was given away – hopefully this will take place on Sunday and I am very much looking forward to it.

It is lovely to see the sunny days and as I am typing this it is actually Ostara – the Spring Equinox and the days are going to be getting longer and warmer, I can’t say I’m a fan of daylight saving, but the warmer days will be something to look forward to.  I love watching the trees as their new leaves start budding – we have a frangipani tree opposite us and it looks so bare, but I just noticed this morning while sitting on our front veranda that it has just started to shoot some leaves!  Spring is definitely here.

The sacred rites of love – Beltane

Beltayne is celebrated this year on 31^st October it is a fire festival it celebrates fertility, sensuality and to bring balance to earth with equal male and female energies.  The celebration of fertility is both literal and metaphorical – this is a perfect time to think up new ideas and new projects.  It was also given the name May Day obviously from the Northern Hemisphere as this festival welcomes in May or for us it should be September Day! 

Welcome in Beltane with a green cloth of a natural fibre, covering your altar or table with flowers and seeds, burn jasmine incense and use green and white or gold candles – all to welcome in the God and Goddess of Spring.  And don’t forget to wear flowers in your hair! 

The stones associated with Beltane are: Citrine, Clear quartz, golden tiger’s eye, amber, topaz, sunstone, malachite and orange calcite.

Just remember that Halloween is NOT 31^st October – because we are in the southern hemisphere! It is about the time of year and not the date.

New Moon:

The New Moon this month occurs on Monday October 15 with the Sun and Moon coming together (conjunct) at 23 degrees of Libra. This New Moon is a time to set new intentions around creating harmony and balance in one-to-one relationships. This may include co-operating, negotiating, giving and receiving support, and/or generally finding ways of being diplomatic and refined in our partnerships, marriages and teams. It is also a good time to deal with any co-dependency issues.

Full Moon:

The Full Moon this month occurs on Tuesday October 30 with the Moon at 7 degrees Taurus and the Sun in the opposite sign of Scorpio at 7 degrees. The Full Moon is a time for letting go and releasing that which doesn’t serve our highest good. Taurus is a sensual, earthy sign centring on physical and financial resources, stability and security, and our self esteem and values. Scorpio is a watery, emotional sign highlighting deep intensity and feelings of control and power, and focuses on other people’s resources. It is known as the sign of “sex, death and taxes”. Fairs / Festivals –

The Dolphin Healing and Wellness centre is holding their annual October Festival.  They are located at 19 Wine Country Drive, Cessnock with meditation gong at 10am.  Cost is $2 per adult, children are free.  There will be lots of stalls there with Raffles, Lucky Door Prizes, Face Painting, Organic and Natural Products, Gifts, Crystals, Spiritual Healers & Readers, Intuitive Artists, Mini Treatments in Massage, Kinesiology, Meditation, Reiki, and lots more…..

And more importantly if you would like to meet Michelle who does the astrology report each month, she will be having a stall there!

Free Mini Readings on Facebook:-

For those of you who are unaware of what I have been doing on my Facebook page, I have been randomly doing mini tarot/clairvoyant readings on no given day where everyone who has ‘liked’ my Facebook page is put into an excel spreadsheet and then a computer programme randomly selects a name for me to do a reading on – So make sure you “like” my facebook page.

I try to do this at least once a week so keep an eye to see if you have been selected and what your message says!  I see it as a little thank you for your support. 

So, spread the word and keep an eye on my page!

Services that I offer: 

PSYCHIC PARTIES – I do party groups where everyone has as 15 minute reading – this is lots of fun for baby showers, birthdays, hens nights etc and it’s just $20 per reading.  These readings aren’t burnt to disc because there are usually too many people and it just takes up too much time, but I am able to take notes or the person having the reading can take them if they wish. It obviously depends on where you live – if you live about an hour from Newcastle CBD, I would need a minimum of 10 people having 15 minute readings ($20 each) if you want to have ½ hour readings ($50 each) then a minimum of 4 people would be appreciated.  At this stage I don’t charge to travel to the party, I am literally only charging for the readings.

FUNDRAISING – I’ve also done a few fundraisers, again which I am happy to do to help a good cause – I usually give a percentage of my takings for the day to help raise funds.

GROUP OF FRIENDS – If you don’t want to go the whole hog with a psychic party but there are four or so friends that would like half hour readings, I will visit you in your home – as long as it’s within a certain radius of Newcastle!  As long as I have a private spot to sit and water to drink, I’m happy!!!

Types of readings:

I offer a few different ways to have a reading, they are all ½ hour and cost $50AU:-

1.  Face to face – where you come into my room here at Newcastle and your reading is recorded and burnt to disc at no extra charge.
2. Telephone – for those that live in Australia
3. SKYPE – for those anywhere in the world!
4. Emailed reading – for those that find it difficult to come in for a reading or line a time up for a phone reading or SKYPE.
5. Mini reading – one question only.

All readings are just as effective as the other, a face to face reading is no different from a phone reading, I just offer all of the above for your convenience.
