Surviving Christmas
That wacky time of year, Christmas is nearly upon us. It’s the time of year that causes the most stress for people because they’re put into situations where they are not comfortable.
I have mentioned this before that I just don’t get the whole “you have to be nice to them because they’re family” kind of attitude that we humans have. If I wouldn’t pick that person as a friend, why do I have to put up with them because they’re family?! To help you cope with them surround yourself with a golden white light, or any colour that you find comforting and ask your Spirit Guides and Angels to help you through this difficult time.
Remember it’s how you judge others that you have to worry about, (because that says something about you) not how others are judging you, because that, you have no control over. BUT you can control how it affects you.
As a very famous lady once said, “no-one can make you feel inferior without your consent” – Eleanor Roosevelt.
Take this time and turn it into something positive if you know in advance it’s going to be a negative – take it as a lesson on how to deal with those you don’t get along with, because all through our lives there will be those people. Don’t lower yourselves down to their level of rudeness or ignorance, just send out love and acceptance because they are who they are and they are on their own journey and we’re on ours, we’re not here to “save” anyone, but offer guidance if asked.
And lastly, this Christmas take a moment to give thanks for all that you have, regardless of how small. When you start tallying them all up, you’ll realise you have more than you thought.
Here is to you all having a Christmas filled with love and laughter and a happy new year.
