Archangels – have you ever wondered what it is they actually do?

When you’re going through a rough time, it’s kinda nice to know which archangel to actually call upon. You know, what their speciality is.

While all of the angels and archangels will help you, regardless, I mean let’s face it if you call on Gabriel because you’ve lost something, he’s not going to say, sorry dude, I help writers and children, you’re on your own!

Yeah, that’s just not going to happen.

I’m going to be honest here and say that I am no expert in the knowledge of angels / archangels.

What I’m good at is research, reading, thinking and analyzing and then coming to my own conclusion.

I’m also not one of those that goes on about all the ‘levels’ that one needs to ‘attain’ in the spiritual world.

I’m not sure why to be honest, I think it’s not the levels themselves I dislike.

Rather it’s more witnessing the people that go on about it always seem self-important and of course, are always at a much higher level of attainment than anyone else!

Hmmmm, yeah, right.

So, the following are some of the main archangels and what they do, along with how to pronounce their names.

(**Note: they aren’t going to throw a hissy fit if you don’t say their name right! LOL)

Ariel – AHR-ee-el – Helps with our physical needs, you know, like money, a roof over your heard, food, clothing etc. This lovely archangel also is an environmental warrior and helps animals.

Azrael – Oz-ry-EL – Helps those going through grief. Also, helps souls to heaven, think hospitals, hospices or even if you want to go into grief counselling.

Chamuel – SHAM-you-el – Suffer anxiety? Call on Chamuel! Also, specializes in finding lost objects, or helping you get that job you’re seeking.

Gabriel – GAB-ree-el – The looker afterer of teachers, writers and journalists. However, also helps with children (raising them) also conceiving them / bringing them into your life.

Haniel – HAWN-ee-EL – Helps with articulation, you know, saying the right thing. Also, ladies, helps with those monthly cycles

Jeremiel – Jair-ah-MY-el – emotions (geez, this archangel must get bombared!) helps us to forgive ourselves and others and putting positive changes in our lives.

Jophiel – JO-fee-el – Loves a tidy home – well, energy wise! Heals negative energies and cleans them up. Helps you bring organization to your thoughts, which flows onto your surroundings. A good helper for artists, creative types / beauty industry / feng shui.

Metatron – MET-un-tron (anyone else think of a transformer type dude when saying this name??!!) Helps with learning disorders mainly with children and adolescents. ‘

Michael – (super famous) clears negativity, helps us release our fears and doubts, finding your life purpose and of course the biggie …… protects you!!

Raguel – Rag-WELL – Having problem with a relationship, whether friend, family or work colleague – this archangel is the one that will help you. Helps to heal misunderstandings. Also, a good one to call on when learning to meditate.

Raphael – (not one of the ninja turtles) The helper of healers – regardless of what kind of healing, he’s the one to call on, also not just healers but if you’re not well and need healing.

RAH-zee-el – feeling like your stuck with your intuitive / psychic abilities? This one is for YOU! Also, loves helping with dream interpretations and past-life memories.

Sandalphon – SAN-dul-fon – While mainly the arts and music, as artistic types can get a bit over-emotional – helps healing in the emotional areas as well.

Uriel – YUR-ee-el – Feeling blocked when trying to come up with a new idea? Yep, Uriel can assist you with insight and new ideas / concepts.

Zadkiel – ZAD-kee-el – helps you improve your memory – a good one for students with upcoming exams!

So, in a nutshell, there you have it! I hope that you print this out and put it on the fridge as a reference guide on which archangel can help you the best.
