What is the energy you feel?
Have you ever walked into a room or a house and the energy gave you goosebumps? Or maybe you’ve walked into a house and the energy completely creeped you out?
It happens to me all the time, this week my GG (Gorgeous Guy) and I went to Canberra for a couple of days R&R and we did a tour through Old Parliament House. GG sat and waited for the tour guide and I wandered around the main hall then wandered into the Senate. The energy was amazing! I’ve told the story of when we went to Vietnam and Cho Chi tunnels were I nearly had a break-down because the energy was just so horrid, however in The Senate it was an amazing energy, like there was a real buzz in the air. The excitement of people getting things done, frustration, laughter, disbelief all the emotions were in that room and it really was a buzz just to be there and feel it!
I don’t like big shopping centres or crowded markets because there is just too much energy and it all becomes a bit overwhelming – I usually just go and get what it is I needed then I’m off!
Cemeteries don’t bother me either, there is a sadness there not from those that have passed but from those that visit.
The energy that every living thing has is amazing, we can’t see it but it’s there and it can also be left behind like a footprint in cement. That’s why you can walk into a house and just feel like it isn’t any good, you may not even realise that it is the energy of a previous occupant that has lived there you just know you don’t like it but you can’t put a finger on why.
Don’t disregard that feeling, even if you’re with other people and they don’t feel it, don’t just dismiss it as being ‘overly sensitive’ or ‘making things up’ because, yes, you are sensitive to the energies so when buying a house and it just doesn’t ‘feel’ right, don’t buy it! That energy is telling you that it’s not the house for you / job / car whatever. Learn to listen and trust that feeling because it’s something that is beyond your control.
You know when you’ve dismissed it as being ‘silly’ and then you’ve bought it and everything seems to go wrong? It’s important to understand that those energies are real and you need to listen to them.
I remember one time when I was doing a party and the person hosting asked me to check out a room as soon as I walked in I knew that someone had died, not in that room, but they were visiting – it was apparently the next door neighbour!
Have you had an experience like this? Where you’ve felt the energy, whether good or bad?
I’d love to hear about it!

We lived in a house in Scotland, couple of hundred years old, called Galabank. This translated as Gallows Bank as in the old days hanging was carried out in this vicinity. It had 16 rooms, 4 of which were attic rooms with a large glass skylight above the stairs. My sister and I had a room each. One room we wouldn’t use at all, the energy in it was yuck we just explained it as “damp”. Often heard footsteps in the night as someone walking on wooden floors ( house carpeted throughout.). My best friend on a sleepover complained about me waking her in the night walking in her room (I didn’t). I used to walk up the main curving stairs to the second floor with my back to the wall due to an overwhelming feeling that someone wanted to push me over the banisters. Then going further up the skylight would freak me out as I always felt as if someone hanging there. Don’t know if it was all overactive teenage imagination but that has beeen a very unhappy house. The people we bought from wanted out as their daughter had become a heroin addict so we got it cheap. My Mum had the worst of her alcoholism there. The man from the family who bought from us was diagnosed with something and died within a couple of years in his forties. To look at it is a gorgeous house but people don’t stay long there and it has changed hands a lot considering many people tend to stay in one area all their lives in small Scottish towns.
