Have you ever wondered why some psychics use different tools when doing readings?

For example, you may find a psychic that uses say, crystals, tarot or runes.

Then there are those that read palms, do astrology or psychometry (getting energy off an object e.g. jewellery).

Then there are others like me, that really don’t use anything at all when doing a reading.

There’s no right or wrong when it comes to what a psychic may use and the most important thing to remember is that it doesn’t affect your reading in any way.

A psychic that uses tarot isn’t necessarily better than one that does psychometry.

It’s just how they get their energy / information to do the reading for you.

I can tell you that when I do tarot readings, I’m most definitely NOT just giving you the meaning of the card.  Quite often what I get for a card actually is nothing to do with the literal meaning!  It’s just the energy that it’s giving me.

For example, a tarot card can’t tell you the name of someone, but I often get initials in a reading. And crystals can’t tell you that you’re going to be gifted a red bicycle.  However, the psychic doing the reading will be getting energy from their tool, if they use one and get that extra information.

You may also find that certain psychics may specialize in different areas, just mediumship or maybe clearing energies from a home.  Because of this they may use certain tools to help them connect with the energy that they’re after.

However, a psychic may use a number of different tools, literally for the client.  Some client’s prefer tarot, which is fine.  They like to look at the pictures and try and ‘read’ them for themselves.  Others may prefer an astrological reading because there’s a bit more fact or science behind it than just sitting down and getting information from someone.

In the end it will be down to your preferences.  Are you more comfortable with someone doing tarot or just a plain old clairvoyant reading?

Whatever the psychic does, one thing doesn’t make someone a ‘better’ psychic than the other.  It’s about the energy that they can pick up, the energy that you allow them to connect with.  Therefore, find someone that you feel comfortable with and who has been correct on things in the past.

Remember it’s also not an exact science as you have the free will to change your mind or do something different.
