As most of you know, I started up a coffee club – entitled Katrina’s Koffee Klub and yes, I do realise that the acronym is KKK!!!!!  This became something that I felt I had to do as Spirit kept nudging me about it!!! 

I have been quite saddened by the number of women here in the Hunter area (Newcastle, NSW) who don’t really have any close girlfriends.  That is so not a good place to be.  Women need girlfriends and men need mates, it is a part of life, and we women have different girlfriends who help us through different things.  But it is just so important to have at least ONE person that you can share confidences with, or at least, vent to!!!  Venting is so important, the person listening doesn’t have to “fix” anything, they just need to listen.

So, our inaugural get together happened on Saturday and about 10 ladies turned up – and it so happens that one lady was there who I knew through the Spiritualist Church and after explaining about what I was doing, asked to join the group!!!  (Gotta love synchronicity!).

We all got together and just chatted about anything and everything and just getting to know each other and everyone’s likes and dislikes in a very friendly and relaxed atmosphere.

All said that they enjoyed it, which I am pleased about!  And everyone wanted to know when the next one would be held!!!  Hmmm I wasn’t actually planning on holding another one, this was an ice breaker so that those that could make it could actually meet, the rest is all up to you ladies!  You have each other’s details and I think most also swapped numbers, so now take the step and email or ring each other, even those that couldn’t make it, and keep in contact. 

I can’t force people to be friends, you have to be one to get one!

Though I did mention that I was thinking of having a dinner next with a set menu and add a bit on top of the set price and I would go around and give everyone a 15-20 minute readings – kind of a psychic dinner!!!! 

How popular do you think that would be???  I’ll have to start scouting around for somewhere to hold it……

So, a big thank you to you lovely ladies who were able to make the coffee morning!  It was lovely to be a part of helping people connect.
