Your journey
A lot of people want to know what their purpose is in life, you know, ‘what should I do when I grow up?’ kind of question. Maybe we need to look at our lives and our journey in a different context. Instead of thinking that we need to achieve something or that the path that we are on is leading us to somewhere, maybe we just need to sit back and realise that the purpose of our lives IS the journey. Maybe for some of us there isn’t going to be a ‘lightbulb’ moment where we realise we need to specifically be good at something but instead let the stress of that go and relish the journey that we are on, learning little bits about ourselves and others, being able to change our views as we learn and grow, being kind to others finding different things to do that we enjoy but they don’t have to be a ‘passion’ just something that we enjoy.
I think that would be a much more stress free way of living, seeing where your journey takes you, but more importantly, learning all you can along the way and sharing that knowledge with others, maybe that’s all you have to do. So if you haven’t had that lightbulb moment, don’t stress maybe you are just one of those that isn’t meant to, instead your destination is your journey so relax and enjoy it.
